WHAT WE DO:

INKOPET connects a network of approved slaughterhouses and processors in Central and Eastern Europe with buyers across Europe and beyond, for a wide range of species and product types. The focus is on building stable, long‑term raw material flows rather than one‑off spot deals, with attention to volumes, specifications and seasonality.From its base in Zagreb, the team follows markets, availability and plant capacities, and translates that into concrete offers and contracts for customers in human consumption and pet food/CAT3 segments. This includes aligning technical specifications (cuts, offal, trimmings, by‑products), packaging and labelling so that products fit directly into the customer’s production process.INKOPET also coordinates the practical side of execution: documentation, veterinary and health papers, and communication between factories, cold stores and transport companies. By combining sourcing, contracting and cold‑chain logistics into one point of coordination, the platform helps both suppliers and customers secure the right product, at the right time, under clear and transparent conditions.

PRODUCTS & SPECIES:

INKOPET product portfolio covers a wide spectrum of animal species, allowing customers to design multi-species formulations and tailor raw material profiles to different nutritional and processing needs. Core lines are based on poultry (chicken and turkey) and waterfowl (duck and goose), complemented by substantial volumes of pork and beef raw materials that include both muscle-adjacent cuts and a full range of organs.

Beyond the main livestock categories, we also work with rabbit, game meat (with focus on venison bones and trimming), lamb and selected fish species and various fish frames, giving customers access to higher-value specialty proteins and fats as well as more economical mix components. This broad species coverage is particularly suited to pet food, treat and rendering applications, where species variety supports product differentiation, recipe flexibility and more complete utilization of the animal.

GLOBAL SOURCING:

INKOPET sources meat and animal by‑products from a trusted network of producers across Central and Eastern Europe and other key regions. Suppliers are selected for consistent quality, certifications and the ability to support long‑term, program‑based business rather than one‑off spot loads.

QUALITY AND COMPLIANCE:

The team works with producers and customers to match product specifications, labelling and documentation to EU and importing‑country requirements for both human consumption and Category 3 (CAT3) materials. Veterinary certificates, health documents and traceability data are coordinated to keep flows compliant and audit‑ready.

COLD CHAIN LOGISTICS:

Together with specialized logistics partners, INKOPET organizes refrigerated transport, consolidation and storage for full and part‑loads. Flexible loading points, optimized routing and temperature‑controlled handling help customers secure the volumes they need while protecting product quality and shelf life.
